Harvested from Atlantic salt marshes and then simply drained, our coarse cooking salt delivers a distinct sea flavor that enhances roasted vegetables, stewed meats, or shellfish. Its marine crystals dissolve slowly, diffusing a consistent salinity and preserving the flavor of food.
Unwashed and unrefined, this salt retains its natural iodine, potassium, and magnesium. These minerals contribute to electrolyte balance, help regulate cellular osmotic tension, and support thyroid hormone production. A pinch is enough to accentuate the sweetness of a squash or the depth of a broth while supplementing daily mineral intake. How to use coarse cooking salt
- Season the cooking water: 10 g of salt per liter.
- Make a crust: mix 1 kg of salt with 2 egg whites.
- Rub red meats before a dry marinade.
- Keep the bag closed, away from steam.
