Born from sweet peppers grown under a generous sun and then slowly smoked over beechwood, our organic smoked paprika infuses every dish with barbecue flavor without having to light any embers. A pinch of this smoky spice transforms a sausage rougail, enhances a vegetable curry, or adds an Iberian note to grilled tofu: the sweet sweetness of the pepper combines with a lingering smoky note, ideal for Creole and Mediterranean cuisines.
Smoked at low temperature for 48 hours, then stone-ground, paprika preserves its natural pigments (capsanthin, capsorubin) and its slightly caramelized notes. This artisanal process concentrates the aromas; you thus reduce your sodium and fat intake, while obtaining a complex flavor palette. Mixed with olive oil, it binds in a few seconds to coat grilled corn; sprinkled at the end of cooking, it colors a risotto or a gratin without burning or becoming bitter.
